Lithium iron phosphate battery is a lithium ion battery that uses lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) as the positive electrode material and carbon as the negative electrode material,The theoretical specific capacity of the LiFePO4 battery is high (about 170~180mAh/Kg) and the discharge platform is 3.4V, the rated voltage of the single battery is 3.2V, and the Max. charging voltage is 3.6V~3.65V as well as cut-off voltage of 2.0V.

  • Q How to activate the BAKTH 12V LiFePO4 battery?

    The BAKTH 12V 100Ah LiFePO4 battery is shipped in shelf mode. Before using this 12v LiFePO4 battery for the first time, please activate it with a charge/discharge current greater than 1A and measure the terminal voltage to validate. Prior to long periods of storage, please disconnect the 12v lithium batteries from the system. The battery will enter shelf mode automatically after 24 hours. In shelf mode, the battery has a low self-discharge rate and can hold the charge for a longer period of time.
  • Q What should I do if the 12V 100Ah lithium ion battery shuts off due to the low state of charge(SoC)?

    A
    The battery SOC estimation is an important component of the battery management system. It can be used to describe the energy level available at the battery and is also significant for finding the lifespan of any 12V lithium deep cycle battery. The SOC value ranges from 0% to 100% and represents the battery level.In practice, the best SOC status of a 12V lithium ion battery is 50% of the central SOC level, so the battery should be charged when the SOC reaches 50%, the charging tends will become slower outside the SOC range of 20-80%. Ensure the SOC of the battery at an appropriate level will be able to protect the lithium 100Ah battery’s internal ambiance and prolong the battery life. Please disconnect the battery from loads and charge the battery as soon as possible if you found your battery shut off due to the low state of charge. Otherwise, may cause irreversible damage to the battery.
  • Q How long will a BAKTH 100 amp hour lithium battery last?

    The BAKTH 12V LiFePO4 battery W/wo Bluetooth is capable of 2000 cycles of perfect charge and discharge, after which the efficiency of the battery will drop to 80% of the factory performance, but it is still very good for regular use, such as use as a lithium RV or car battery (with 12v system). If you live a completely off-grid life, calculated at the rate of a full charge and discharge per day, you will be able to use this lithium ion 12v battery for about 5 years or even more.
  • Q How many batteries can I connect to at most?

  • Q How to keep a Lithium-iron Phosphate battery healthy at low temperatures?

    A
    A Lithium-iron Phosphate battery will not charge and enters a low-temperature protection stage if the charging environment is below 32°F(0°C ). If you buy the Lithium-iron Phosphate battery without a self-heating function, please pay attention to timely charging it at the appropriate temperature to prevent the battery from overdischarging. Safe charging requires battery temperatures between 32°F and 113°F (0°C and 45°C). By minimizing exposure to conditions that accelerate degradation, Lithium-iron Phosphate batteries can last longer.
  • Q What do I need to know to connect multiple batteries in parallel?

    A
    When you design to connect multiple batteries in parallel, please keep the length of ALL cables consistent (from the positive end to the negative end). Battery cables should be appropriately gauge to handle the expected load. Keep the connection tight by using the appropriate number of washers to allow for as much as possible thread engagement between the terminal, cable lugs, and busbars, without bottoming out the terminal bolt. And it is best to use flexible busbars or dedicated cables to connect batteries together.
     
    Note: DO NOT connect batteries with different chemistries.
     
    Please use batteries of the same voltage and capacity for parallel expansion. For example, this lithium ion battery is a 12V 100ah battery, please also use the lithium battery with specifications are 12V 100ah for parallel expansion.
