The Challenge: A soil moisture sensor developed by an IoT technology company for smart agriculture projects once had high maintenance costs due to the short battery life of traditional batteries (only 3 months), requiring users to replace batteries frequently; moreover, the power supply was unstable in outdoor high and low temperature environments (-20℃~60℃), affecting data collection accuracy.
The Solution: To address these pain points, the company selected the BAKTH-103450P-1S1P lithium-polymer battery for adaptation.
The Result:
Strong environmental adaptability: The lithium-polymer battery has a wide operating temperature range (-20℃~60℃). In high-temperature environments (55℃) of agricultural greenhouses and low-temperature environments (-15℃) outdoors in winter, the discharge efficiency remains above 85% with stable power supply, ensuring the soil moisture data collection error is ≤±2%;
Flexible size: The compact 103450P specification can be embedded into the sensor's compact shell (volume ≤50cm³) without affecting the sensor's installation and deployment.
